*Learning new information about your disorder.
*Feeling accepted as you are.
Epilepsy support groups range from child, teen, and adult-oriented, to groups for parents or siblings of folks with epilepsy.
Places to get support:

*Local support Groups in your area. Ask your doctor or hospital where in your area you can find support groups.
*Your family and friends.
*Your library
*The internet has endless information on epilepsy.
Epilepsy is usually treated with medication prescribed by a physician; primary caregivers and neurologists, or a special diet can be helpful.
Never forget you are not alone and there are people all around you that are there for you!
